Scope
These terms govern your use of the Lakepoint Capital Inc. website at lakepointcapital.ca (the "Website") and of any software application, integration or tool that Lakepoint Capital Inc. ("Lakepoint", "we", "us") makes available or operates, including Lakepoint's internal integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online (together, the "Services"). By using the Website or the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
Internal software and integrations
Lakepoint's software integrations, including its QuickBooks Online integration, are licensed for use only by Lakepoint and its authorized personnel to operate Lakepoint's own business. They are not offered to, and may not be used by, any other person or business. Lakepoint grants its authorized personnel a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use these integrations solely for Lakepoint's internal purposes. Access may be revoked at any time. Any connection between Lakepoint's integrations and a third-party platform, such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, is also subject to that platform's own terms, and the connection can be removed at any time from that platform's application settings.
No financial, legal or tax advice
Content on the Website is general information about commercial financing and about Lakepoint's services. It is not financial, legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, is not an offer to arrange or provide financing, and does not create a client relationship. Lakepoint acts for clients only under a signed engagement letter. Indicative rates, terms and examples shown on the Website are illustrative and change with market conditions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Website or the Services to break any law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data, to interfere with their operation, to copy or scrape content in bulk, or to misrepresent your identity or authority.
Intellectual property
The Website, the Services and their content, including text, graphics, logos, analyses, templates and software, are owned by Lakepoint or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print Website content for your own information. Any other use, including reproduction, distribution or modification, requires Lakepoint's prior written consent.

Lakepoint's collection and use of personal information is described in its Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Third-party sites and platforms
The Website and the Services may link to or connect with third-party websites and platforms, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, document-sharing and e-signature services. Lakepoint does not control those sites and platforms and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Website and the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakepoint and its directors, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business opportunity, arising from or relating to the Website or the Services. Lakepoint's total liability for any claim relating to the Website or the Services will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or willful misconduct or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
Lakepoint may suspend or end access to the Website or the Services at any time, with or without notice, including for any breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
